Question: why won't my 2004 dodge stratus start?

I stopped at a gas station on my way home from work, It was getting really low. I only had 5 dollars, so I put that much gas in it. started just fine leaving the gas station. Next morning I tried to start it and it will crank and crank, then it acts like it's going to start, then doesn't. We put 2 more gallons of fuel in it, but it still just cranks.

Your problem may have nothing to do with refueling, but you do have a no-start issue. And that can be caused by several different things, from a crank sensor to a fuel pump. You'll need to have it diagnosed by a shop to find the exact cause.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
