Question: Why won't my truck start

When I turn the key to start the truck I hear a loud clicking sound. It sounds like it is coming from the starter solenoid on the inside of the rt fender. I replaced the solenoid but the clicking continues. the starter is new (within the last 3 months) and the battery was replaced at the same time as the starter but it was used.

That clicking means the starter is not getting enough current to turn over the engine. It could be caused by a battery with a low charge, a worn starter or bad battery cables/connections.

Have the charging system tested to see if it is causing a low battery. Many auto parts stores will test your charging system for free. Here's an article on how to test the starting system:
