Question: why would a new power steering pump wine

the power steering pump went out. Ive put three pumps on it since. primed the new pumps and done everything by the book as far as installation is concerned. they all have wined?

When you did the first start up on the pumps did they go dry. If so that is why. I would make sure it's not some thing else causing your wine. Like the alternator. But if it's still the pump. It could be where you are buying the pumps. I would try a different vender.
