Question: will my fuel pump work with only 10.6 volts running to it?

i have a 2000 kia spectra and got in an accident. after that it has not started again . i checked all the fuses and there is 12 volt power to the relay but only 10 volts to the pump , i put 12 volts to the pump and it works. what is wrong?

You could have a bad wire going to the fuel pump. You need to use a test light to see it the power wire can light a bulb. Not a led a light bulb. If it light a bulb it should run the fuel pump. Some times with volt meters you will have voltage. But no amps are getting to the pump. It only takes one strand of wire to get voltage. But it takes all the stands to handle the amprage.
