Question: window and door lock

when i roll my window all the way down onthe drivers side it won't go up again until 5 minutes of trying?
also my key fob will unlock my car from a distance but won't lock it any more?

The window problem is probably a bad window regulator.

The key fob probably needs to be replaced. I would try a new battery first.
