Question: Wiring harness for replacement mirror is different. Can I get around this?

I purchased a replacement passenger mirror for my 2000 Toyota Avalon and the wiring harness accepts 6 pins; however, the original mirror wiring harness accepts 10 pins. The new mirror will not plug into the harness in the door. is there any way to get around this?
