Question: Would struts cause the car to shake?

Replaced old, worn tires with used tires, but car continues to shake. Was advised that struts need to be replaced on the drivers side. Issue did not exist until I replaced the tires. Have conducted an alignment and balancing.

No, struts will not cause shaking. That is caused by tires out of alignment or with separating belts, or by a worn steering components. Almost always tires, though.

Have the used tires checked for separating belts.
