Question: Would the O2 Sensor damage if starts using premium gas?

My Venza 2009 specifications indicate the use of Regular gas. Then, sometime ago I started using Premium gas. In about two months the Service Engine indicator lighted up. When I took the car to the dealer for service inspection they indicated that the O2 sensor was not working properly. I finally got a replacment and turn out to use Regular gas again. Dealer's technicians did not confirm if the change for gas types was the reason for the damage.

Premium gas will not cause your O2 sensor to stop working. So you can run it if you want. With out hurting the engine or O2sensor.
