We have a 2013 Ford Escape SEL. Bought used with around 30,000 miles. Regular maintenance and then some.. At 83900 our car stopped. Towed to a Ford dealer.. End result is the serpentine belt broke, hit valves or something and took out the engine. Someone from Ford outside the dealership inspected the car after pictures were sent. WE did purchase the extended warranty.. Ford will not cover the cost stating because it was a serviceable part that broke they will not cover the cost. We have had regular maintenance done on this car. Brakes, 3 times. Front end replaced, a wrong leaky boot replaced and had to pay for the original to be replaced... HELP! Thanks so much for listening.
