  • "Best car on the Market for the money. A BMW or Audi with similar performance and options was $10-$20k more and had cheaper feeling interiors. The closest car to my almost purchase was a 335 BMW, but it would have nearly been a base model to get near the volvo's price. I did a lot of research before buying and even weighted the option of going used for more performance at the same money looking at cars like the RS4 and E90 M3. The Volvo despite being an automatic drove better, was more comfortable and I know over the long haul will have less issues over it's German rivals. The overseas delivery program from volvo was the check box that one it over entirely. The program was great and all expenses paid made it really worth it. The new Short I6 engine in these cars has proven to be reliable and I hold it as one of the most reliable engines in the past 10 years. I wish it was just a little bit faster and the opening in the trunk was bigger for getting bigger boxes in it. The around town gas mileage is just a bit disappointing as I can barely get 20mpg around town. On the interstate I'm pleasantly surprised beating the EPA rating easily. I can average 30-31 mpg on the interstate holding between 70-80 mph."
